§ 152.02   DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this ordinance, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ATTACHED WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES.  Wireless communication facilities that are affixed to existing structures, such as existing buildings, towers, water tanks, utility poles, and the like.  A wireless communication support structure proposed to be newly established shall not be included within this definition.
   AUTHORIZED CITY REPRESENTATIVE.  The Mayor or the person designated by the Mayor to act as the authorized city representative.
   CITY ZONING ORDINANCE or CHAPTER 157.  Ord. 19, ser. 2, adopted in accordance with the provisions of the City and Villages Zoning Enabling Act, which ordinance, the Zoning Map, and all amendments thereto are hereby incorporated by reference.  All references to zoning districts included in this ordinance shall refer to those districts established and amended from time to time by the CITY ZONING ORDINANCE.  The definitions found in § 157.006 of this code are specifically adopted by reference herein unless specifically modified by the text of this ordinance, as amended.
   COLOCATION.  The location by 2 or more wireless communication providers of wireless communication facilities on a common structure, tower, or building, with the intention of reducing the overall number of structures required to support wireless communication antennas within the community.
   DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEMS (DAS)/ SMALL CELL WIRELESS FACILITIES. Structures, antennas and associated equipment installed and/or operated for the provision of telecommunication or wireless services, including without limitation, antennas, supporting structures for antennas, poles, equipment shelters or houses, and any ancillary equipment.
   WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITIES.  Include all structures and accessory facilities relating to the use of the radio frequency spectrum for the purpose of transmitting or receiving radio signals.  This may include, but shall not be limited to, radio towers, television towers, telephone devices and exchanges, microwave relay towers, telephone transmission equipment building, and commercial mobile radio service facilities.  Not included within this definition are:  citizen band radio facilities; short wave facilities; ham, amateur radio facilities; satellite dishes; and governmental facilities which are subject to state or federal law or regulations which preempt municipal regulatory authority.
   WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SUPPORT STRUCTURES.  Structures erected or modified to support wireless communication antennas.  SUPPORT STRUCTURES within this definition include, but shall not be limited to, monopoles, lattice towers, light poles, wood poles, and guyed towers.
