A. Application: Any person, partnership, corporation or any other business desiring to engage in the business of presenting carnivals, menageries, traveling amusements, tent shows, or any itinerant merchants, itinerant photographers, spiritualists, palm readers, door to door salespersons, or mobile businesses with a permanent location who desire to engage in such business in the city shall make application to the city clerk-treasurer prior to the time said individual, partnership, corporation, or other organization shall commence said business. B. Required Information: Such application shall state the name and residence of applicant, the nature of the business, kind of goods to be sold, or types of amusement which the business is to conduct and the length of time for which a license is desired.
C. Issuance Of License: If said business be in all respects lawful and upon the recommendation of the police department of the city, the city clerk-treasurer shall, upon payment for the license fee herein provided for, issue a license to the applicant for the period and the purpose required by such application.
