2-2-7: APPLICATION FOR LICENSE:
Before the issuance of a license as herein provided, the applicant shall file with the city an application, in writing, signed by the applicant and containing such information and statements relative to the applicant and the premises where the liquor is to be sold as may be required by the city. The application shall be verified by the affidavit of the person making the same before a person authorized to administer oaths and shall be accompanied with the license fee herein required. In addition to the qualifications required by other provisions of this chapter, the application must show:
   A.   Owner Consent: A certified copy of a document showing that the owner consents to the sale of alcoholic beverages on the premises if the premises to be licensed is not owned by the applicant.
   B.   State License: A license issued by the State Police, Alcohol Beverage Control, for the premises and for the time for which the application is made.
   C.   County License: A license issued by the Board of County Commissioners for the premises and for the time for which the application is made.
   D.   Display of License: Upon issuance of a license to the applicant for the particular premises, the license shall at all times be prominently displayed in the place of business of the licensee.
   E.   A detailed description of the premises for which a license is sought and its location.
   F.   A detailed statement of the assets and liabilities of the applicant.
   G.   The names and addresses of all persons who will have any financial interest in any business to be carried on, in, or upon the licensed premises.
   H.   The name and address of the applicant, which shall include all members of a partnership or association.
   I.   Investigation: The city shall forthwith advise the mayor and city council of the application. The mayor shall then cause a thorough investigation to be made of said applicant, pertaining to the qualifications for a license. If it is determined that said applicant complies with all requirements and qualifications for a license, and premises requirements are met, a license may be issued to the applicant.
