7-1-17: TURNING ON AFTER SHUTOFF:
   A.   Prohibited: Should the owner or occupant of the premises turn on the water, or suffer or cause it to be turned on, after it has been shut off by the City at the water meter, the City will shut the meter off and a charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) must be paid to the City before the same shall be turned on again. The charge set forth herein shall be increased for repeated violations by multiplying this charge times the repeat numbers.
   B.   Violation; Penalty: Any person turning on a City water meter after it is shut off by the City shall be guilty of an infraction and subject to penalty as provided in this Code, which penalty shall be in addition to any charge set forth in subsection A of this section. (Ord. 991, 10-11-2018)
