A. Violation; Failure To Pay: The city may withhold water for any violation of this chapter, for public health or safety reasons, for failure to have backflow prevention devices (article A of this chapter), or for failure to pay debts due the city.
B. Multiple Units Or Premises; Failure Of Either To Comply: Where two (2) or more units or premises are supplied from the same service line, failure on the part of either of such units to comply with this chapter shall warrant the director of public works in withholding the supply of water through such service line, until a separate service line, with a separate meter for each user, is installed for each user at said user's expense.
C. Unauthorized Hose Or Pipe: No aboveground or buried water hose or other unauthorized pipe may be used to supply water from one user to a second user. (1974 Code § 1-509)
