(a) Where work for which a permit is required by this chapter is started prior to obtaining such permit, the fees required by such permit shall be doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any person from fully complying with the lawful requirements of any Ohio statute or City ordinance.
(b) Any person, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, who violates any provision of this chapter or fails to comply with any order issued pursuant thereto, shall be imprisoned for a definite term, or fined, or both, which term of imprisonment and fine shall be fixed by the court as provided in this section.
(c) Each day of existence of any continued violation shall be deemed a separate offense.
(d) For each offense, the violator is guilty of permit and inspection fee violation, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
(e) Terms of imprisonment shall be imposed for a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, not more than thirty days.
(f) Fines shall be imposed for a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
