Pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, the 2004 OBOA One, Two, and Three Family Dwelling Code is hereby adopted as the Brook Park Building Code as if fully set out herein, except such provisions as are hereinafter amended, enacted, deleted or repealed. The purposes of the Ohio Building Officials Association One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code, as adopted herein, are to provide increased uniformity across the State, improved communication and understanding of the Code and accessibility of Code changes to all Ohio jurisdictions, as well as to provide a model set of minimum construction standards to safeguard the life, health and public welfare of the citizens of the City.
