1104.01 DECLARATION OF PUBLIC POLICY AND PURPOSE.
   The purpose of this chapter is to provide procedures whereunder the Planning Commission shall conduct the review of public facilities required pursuant to Section 10.03 of the Brook Park Charter, consistent with the requirements of Ohio R.C. 713.02, so as to promote the systematic, coordinated, harmonious, and appropriately controlled development of the City of Brook Park which will, in accordance with present and future needs, best promote and protect the public health, safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity, and general welfare, as well as efficiency and economy in the process of development through, without limitation, adequate provision for traffic, the promotion of safety from fire and other dangers, adequate provision for light and air, the promotion of the healthful and convenient distribution of population, the promotion of good civic design and arrangement, wise and efficient expenditure of public funds, and the adequate provision of public utilities and other public requirements.
