No dice shall be thrown, no pea-ball used, and no cards or other games of chance or any form of gambling shall be permitted in any billiard room or in the room in which such tables are located, or at any cigar stand or other business in the same room whether or not such room is divided by a partition, nor shall any checks be given which can be redeemed for merchandise or cash.
