Every person, society, club, firm or corporation to whom a license is granted for the operation of a billiard room shall pay an annual fee therefore in the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the first table and fifty dollars ($50.00) for each additional table, all moneys received by the way of license fees shall be paid in the General Fund.
Any license granted hereunder shall be for the remainder of the calendar year in which it is granted, unless sooner revoked as provided by this chapter.
