As used in this chapter:
(a) "Drive-in restaurant" means any restaurant where meals, sandwiches, cold drinks, beverages, ice cream or other food is served directly to or is permitted to be consumed by customers or patrons in automobiles, motorcycles or other vehicles parked on the premises.
For the purpose of preserving public peace, health and safety, the entire premises occupied by a drive-in restaurant, shopping center, gasoline station or any other type of business where the patron or customer drives on, to, through or parks upon the premises, together with means of ingress and egress are hereby declared to be a public place.
(b) "Shopping center" means any two or more stores for which off-street parking is provided for parking patrons, or customers driving automobiles, motorcycles or other vehicles.
