507.11 ALARM CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO POLICE STATION.
   (a)   Upon proper application by any authorized person to connect installed equipment from a premise to the Police Department alarm panel used to receive emergency alarms, the Safety Director or his authorized representative may issue a permit for such connection.
   (b)   Connection to the police alarm panel shall be limited to nonresidential users and to those persons specified in subsection (a) hereof and shall be contingent upon the applicant's having obtained permission from the company that maintains the alarm panel in the police station to make such connection. Permission shall not be denied, except as otherwise provided herein, if the equipment is compatible, if charges are paid to the company and if the installation is inspected and approved by the Chief of Police or his representative.
   (c)   The City shall, within its capabilities, endeavor to accommodate every reasonable business application for connection to the police alarm panels, as provided for in subsection (b) hereof.
