Any person, firm, corporation, association or partnership who violates the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a first degree misdemeanor, and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or, if an individual, imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Every day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
