EDITOR'S NOTE: Chapter 159 was repealed in its entirety by Ordinance 8500- 1998, passed November 17, 1998, which terminated the Self-Insurance Fund and transferred any remaining balance in such Fund to the General Fund of the City. The City now enters into contracts from time to time for liability insurance coverage.
Ordinance 8501-1998, passed November 17, 1998, authorized the Finance Director to establish an Insurance Claims Fund for the purpose of resolving any outstanding claims under the former provisions of this chapter. See Section 137.11.
