Where not provided for under specific sections of these Codified Ordinances, each full-time employee of the City shall be entitled to a twenty-five thousand dollar ($25,000) life insurance policy to be paid by the City. Such policy shall provide for a continuing policy in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) after retirement; provided that the employee shall have had ten years continuous employment with the City prior to retirement.
