145.23 DEPUTY SERVICE DIRECTOR.

(a) Appointment and Term. There is hereby created the position of Deputy Service Director who shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at the will of the Mayor under the direction of the Director of Public Service.

(b) Compensation. Compensation for the Duty Service Director shall be fixed by Council.

(c) Duties. A Deputy Service Director appointed under the provisions of this section shall perform such duties as the Director shall assign and prescribe for the position.
