Every officer of the City shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, take and subscribe to an oath, or affirmation that he will in all respects faithfully discharge the duties of his office, that he will be loyal to the Constitution of the United States of America, to the Constitution of the State of Ohio, and that he will uphold this Charter and all of the laws of this City. This oath or affirmation is to be filed and kept in the office of the Clerk of Council.
