(a) Applicability. The commercial zoning districts within the Zoning Code include the Retail Business (R-B) District and the General Business (G-B) District.
(b) Purpose. The commercial zoning districts, and their regulations, are hereby established to achieve, among others, the following purposes:
(1) To provide sufficient, but not excessive land area, for the business and commercial needs of the community; and
(2) To promote the most desirable and beneficial use of land and structures to stabilize and protect the character and value of land development within the City. (Ord. 2022-34. Passed 1-9-23.)
