(a) In theaters, motion picture theaters, auditoriums, concerts, performances and similar assembly occupancies in Group A, used for special events and non-continuous programs, and having more than one-hundred (100) attendees, an audible announcement shall be made not more than ten (10) minutes prior to the start of each program to notify the occupants of the location of exits to be used in the event of a fire or other emergency.
(b) All event staff members and workers will be trained, by the organizer, in this requirement.
(c) Exception: In motion picture theaters, the announcement is allowed to be projected upon the screen in a manner approved by the code official.
(d) Exemption:
(1) All Church services
(2) All exterior events.
