Any person, firm or corporation who performs work installs any appliance, device or equipment without securing a permit therefor and/or fails to pay a fee as required under provisions of this chapter, shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor and each such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion therefor during which any violation of any the provisions of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation, such person shall be punishable by a fine, or by imprisonment as established by law.
