(a) A blue 64 gallon automated Toter recycling container shall be provided to each household, at no cost to the household. Replacement or additional containers shall be charged, at cost, to the household. All other containers will be prohibited and not serviced by the City of Brooklyn Service Department.
(b) A 96 gallon, 64 gallon, or 48 gallon 'toter' automated rubbish container shall be provided to each household, at no cost to the household. Replacement or additional containers shall be charged, at cost, to the household. All other containers will be prohibited and not serviced by the City of Brooklyn Service Department.
(c) Compost material must be placed in a 45 gallon or less capacity refuse container or a brown paper bag. Compost material that is placed in plastic bags will not be picked up.
(d) The City shall not lift, empty, and/or move any container weighing in excess of fifty (50) pounds. (Ord. 2015-27. Passed 5-11-15.)
