No person shall permit or allow and no person shall perform live entertainment within the city which is obscene, lewd or a violation of any other ordinance, regulation, statute or law of the city or commonwealth, or which constitutes a nuisance to the residents of the city. No person shall continue to permit or allow and no person shall perform live entertainment following an order or directive of any police officer to cease such live entertainment when, in the discretion of such police officer, the continued live entertainment will cause a nuisance to the residents of the city.
