ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 10-1-21

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BROMLEY RE-CODIFYING AND RE-ADOPTING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF

BROMLEY, KENTUCKY

   Whereas, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the 2021 review of the official Code of Ordinances of the City of Bromley, which contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and

   Whereas, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statutes; and

   Whereas, it is the intent of the City Council to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROMLEY, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:

Section I. That the re-codified Code of Ordinances of the City of Bromley, Kentucky as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted and reenacted by the City of Bromley as its official Code of Municipal Ordinances, as supplemented in the American Legal Publishing Company’s online Code of Ordinance of the City of Bromley.

Section II. Any and all ordinances in conflict with this ordinance shall be, and hereby are, repealed to the extent of said conflict.

Section III. The invalidity of any section, subsection or sentence of this ordinance shall not affect the remainder of same.

Section IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage, publication, and recorded according to the law.
