No person or entity shall hire or employ or otherwise obtain private security in the city unless they first notify the city of Park Hills Police Department or any future law enforcement agency retained by the city for law enforcement at least 24 hours before acquiring such private security, such notice to include as follows.
(A) If hiring a company whose employees are not licensed in the state as law enforcement personnel, or hiring an individual who is not licensed in the state as law enforcement personnel, notice of the name and telephone number of such each such person or persons providing private security and the dates, times and locations where such private security it to be provided, and a copy of a criminal background check conducted by the Kentucky State Police no more than 30 prior to the first date such individual is to provide private security.
(B) If hiring a person or persons licensed in the state as law enforcement personnel, notice of the name and telephone number of each such person and the name of the law enforcement agency in the state where each such person is currently employed or was most recently employed in the state, and the dates, times and locations where such private security is to be provided.
