§ 1449.08 ADDITIONAL AND OTHER FEES.
   In addition to any fees required in the foregoing sections, the following fees shall also be required, where applicable, for new construction as well as alterations, additions, renovations, repairs and the like.
   (A)   Additions. The fee shall be based upon the higher of the following:
      (1)   Minimum fee: $50 or 1% of the project value;
      (2)   Fee for new construction: See § 1449.07;
      (3)   Fee per $100 value of materials and labor: $1;
      (4)   Concrete patio: $50 or 1% of the project value; and
      (5)   Wood deck: $100 or 1% of the project value.
   (B)   Repairs, Remodeling and Items Not Covered in Fee Schedule.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $50 or 1% of the project value.
      (2)   Fee per $100 value of materials and labor: $1.
   (C)   Certificate of Occupancy, Including Any Inspection Necessary for Same. Existing nonresidential unit: $100.
   (D)   Culvert Pipe Installation or Replacement. $50.
   (E)   Demolition.
      (1)   Principal structure: $200.
      (2)   Accessory structure: $50.
   (F)   Electrical Permit.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $50.
      (2)   Each new or replacement service installation, temporary or permanent: $50.
      (3)   Complete system for new construction or addition without electric heat:
         (a)   Per dwelling or business unit, to 3,000 sq. ft., with one service panel: $100;
         (b)   Each additional 6,000 sq. ft. or fraction thereof of gross floor area: $30;
         (c)   Each additional service panel: $50; and
         (d)   Add for electric heating, per dwelling or business unit: $75.
      (4)   Repairs, remodeling or addition, with no service upgrade:
         (a)   Install or replace up to 15 fixtures, outlets or direct wired appliance: $50;
         (b)   Each additional fixture, outlet or direct wired appliance: $0.50; and
         (c)   New or replacement service panel: $100.
      (5)   Each new or altered exterior sign: $50.
      (6)   Lamp post light: $50.
      (7)   Security system: $75.
      (8)   Communication or other low voltage system(s): $50.
   (G)   Elevator, Lift Crane or Derrick Permit.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $100.
      (2)   Fee per $100 of labor and materials value: $1.
   (H)   Fence or Dumpster Enclosure With Paved Pad.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $75.
      (2)   Per linear foot of fence: $0.15 if more than $75.
   (I)   Fire Protection, Hood Suppression System, Detection or Alarm System. $100.
   (J)   Garage. Attached or detached, including demolition of existing garage: $100.
   (K)   Gas Fired Equipment Permit.
      (1)   Gas piping or repiping: $100.
      (2)   Gas appliance(s) installation or replacement, up to five connections: $75.
      (3)   Each appliance connection beyond five connections: $25.
   (L)   HVAC System, Solid Fuel Burning Stove or Solar Panels.
      (1)   HVAC system for new construction (including hot water and warm air heat):
         (a)   One-, two- and three-family - HVAC, per unit: $75;
         (b)   Each additional HVAC or AC unit: $50;
         (c)   Multi-family - each HVAC unit: $100 each; and
         (d)   Nonresidential - each HVAC unit: $100.
      (2)   Heating and/or air conditioning unit - existing dwelling unit (new or replacement): $75 per unit.
      (3)   Solid fuel burning stove: $75.
      (4)   Solar panels: 1% of project value plus $50 for each new electrical panel.
      (5)   Duct work only: $75 or 1% of the project value.
   (M)   Moving Permit. (See also Chapter 1318 )
      (1)   On owner’s lot: $60.
      (2)   Off owner’s lot: $500.
      (3)   Police services, when required (actual cost if in excess of established fee): $360.
   (N)   Paving or Repaving of Driveways and Sidewalks Permit.
      (1)   Residential one-, two- or three-family:
         (a)   Sidewalk(s) - all sizes: $50; and
         (b)   Driveway - all sizes: $75.
      (2)   Multi-family and nonresidential:
         (a)   Minimum fee: $100; and
         (b)   Per square foot of area to be paved or repaved: $0.01.
   (O)   Plumbing Permit.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $50 or 1% of the project value.
      (2)   New construction or addition - complete plumbing system:
         (a)   New residential or business unit - up to ten fixtures for each unit: $150; and
         (b)   Each additional fixture above ten fixtures: $25.
      (3)   Existing structure or addition - installation or replacement of fixtures - per fixture: $25.
      (4)   Water service, supply replacement or repiping: $50 or 1% of the project value.
      (5)   Sewer line(s) work: $50 or 1% of the project value.
      (6)   Sprinkler system:
         (a)   Each residential one- or two-family dwelling: $50 or 1% of the project value;
         (b)   Each residential multi-family dwelling unit: $100; and
         (c)   Each non-residential unit: $200.
      (7)   Vacuum systems:
         (a)   Plan review: $200;
         (b)   One piping system (per system): $153 + (1% x cost);
         (c)   Mechanical fee:
            1.   Processing fee: $200; and
         (d)   Plumbing fee:
            1.   Processing fee: $200; and
            2.   Room with medical outlets: $20 (per room).
      (8)   Lawn irrigation system:
         (a)   Each residential dwelling: $75; and
         (b)   Each nonresidential unit: $100 or 1% of the project value.
   (P)   Plumbing/Water Heater Permit.
      (1)   Residential water heater: $75; and
      (2)   Commercial water heater: $100.
   (Q)   Roofing Permit.
      (1)   Minimum fee for new or reroof (partial or full): $100 or 1% of the project value.
      (2)   Fee per $100 of labor and materials value: $1.
   (R)   Satellite Signal-Receiving Earth Station.
      (1)   Minimum fee: $100.
      (2)   Fee per $100 of labor and materials value: $1.
   (S)   Sign Permit.
      (1)   Minimum fee per sign: $100.
      (2)   Per square foot of sign area - one side only of two-sided sign: $1.
   (T)   Street and/or Sidewalk Opening Permit. (See also Chapter 1022 )
      (1)   Each street and/or sidewalk opening: $50.
      (2)   Annual (calendar year) blanket permit: $1,500.
      (3)   Public utility company licensed by state: exempt.
   (U)   Swimming Pool Permit. (Permanent or portable, above-ground or in-ground.)
      (1)   For one-, two- or three-family unit: $100 or 1% of the project value.
      (2)   All others: $100.
   (V)   Utility Building Permit.
      (1)   Up to 320 square feet in area: $75.
      (2)   Over 320 square feet in area: use new construction permit fee.
   (W)   Waterproofing or Water Control Work Permit. Interior and/or exterior work: $150 plus electrical fees if sump pump included.
   (X)   Waste Water Treatment Plant Inspection. See § 1342.03 .
   (Y)   Wireless Telecommunications Facility. See Chapter 1344.
   (Z)   Work Started Prior to Issuance or Posting of Permit. Triple fee.
   (AA)   Wind Turbine System. $500.
   (BB)   Solar Energy System. $100 or 1% of project value whichever is larger plus electrical panel(s) fees.
   (CC)   Electronic Recording Fee:
      (1)   Hold harmless agreement (for sprinklers in right-of-way, easement encroachments): $50.
      (2)   Plats: $.10 a square inch per sheet.
