If the Chief of Police or other authorized city personnel find that any transient lodging facility has violated or failed to comply with any provision of this subchapter, the Chief of Police or other authorized city personnel will make a written record of such findings and shall specify therein the particulars of the alleged violations and will inform the Community and Economic Development Department. Upon recommendation of the Chief of Police or other authorized city personnel, the Community and Economic Development may revoke or deny the renewal of the city business license or lodging permit for that transient lodging facility. Revocation of the lodging permit or the denial of a renewal of the transient lodging facility’s lodging permit under this subchapter shall require revocation of the transient lodging facility’s city general business license under §§ 114.020 through 114.028 of this code of ordinances. The Community and Economic Development Department will provide the transient lodging facility with written notice of the decision to revoke a lodging permit or the denial of a renewal of a lodging permit and notice of the right to appeal.
