§ 150.01 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS.
   (A)   Authority. The authority to develop, plan, coordinate, facilitate and implement the address identification numbers for all premises in the town shall be vested in the Street Department.

   (B)   Requirements. All homes, businesses, premises and parcels of real estate in the town shall prominently display their street address in numerals not less than two inches in height on the structure in a location clearly visible from the nearest street.

   (C)   Enforcement. The town’s Building Commissioner shall have the power and authority to inspect all such premises and compile a list of noncompliance and notify the Town Council.

   (D)   Noncompliance. The Town Council, upon notification, shall cause due notice of noncompliance to be sent to each affected property owner or other persons having an interest in such property, and said persons shall be given 30 days within which to comply.

   (E)   Remedy. Upon notice to the Town Council that a property has remained in noncompliance following such notice and 30-day waiting period, the Town Council may direct the Building Commissioner to take all necessary and appropriate steps to appropriately number the noncompliant premises, and the town may thereafter enforce a lien against the property for all costs incurred by the town in correcting the noncompliance.
