§ 71.50 TURN SIGNAL USE.
   (A)   A signal of intention to turn right or left shall be given continuously during not less than the last 200 feet traveled by a vehicle before turning or changing lanes.
   (B)   A vehicle traveling in a speed zone of at least 50 mph shall give a signal continuously for not less than the last 300 feet traveled by the vehicle before turning or changing lanes.

§ 71.51 TURNING AT INTERSECTIONS.
   The driver of a vehicle intending to turn at an intersection shall do so as follows.
   (A)   Both the approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be made as close as practical to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway.
   (B)   The approach for a left turn shall be made in that portion of the right half of the roadway nearest the centerline thereof and after entering the intersection. The left turn shall be made so as to leave the intersection to the right of the centerline of the roadway being entered.
   (C)   (1)   The approach for a left turn from a two-way street onto a one-way street shall be made in that portion of the right half of the roadway nearest the centerline thereof and by passing to the right of such centerline where it enters the intersection.
      (2)   A left turn from a one-way street onto a two-way street shall be made by passing to the right of the centerline of the street being entered upon leaving the intersection.
   (D)   Where both streets or roadways are one-way, both the approach for a left turn and a left turn shall be made as close as practicable to the left-hand curb or edge of the roadway.

§ 71.52 U-TURNS.
   The driver of any vehicle shall not turn such vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any street in a business district, and shall not upon any other street so turn a vehicle unless such movement can be made in safety and without interfering with other traffic.

§ 71.53 ILLEGAL TURN OR LANE CHANGE.
   A person may not slow down or stop a vehicle, turn a vehicle from a direct course upon a highway or change from one traffic lane to another unless the movement can be made with reasonable safety. Before making a movement described in this section, a person shall give a clearly audible signal by sounding the horn if any pedestrian may be affected by the movement and give an appropriate stop or turn signal in the manner provided in § 71.50 of this chapter if any other vehicle may be affected by the movement.

SPEED
§ 71.65 STATE SPEED LAWS APPLICABLE.
   The state’s traffic laws regulating the speed of vehicles shall be applicable upon all streets within the town, except as the Council may declare and determine upon the basis of engineering and traffic investigation that certain speed regulations shall be applicable upon specified streets, in which event, it shall be prima facie unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of any speed so declared by the Council when signs are in place giving notice thereof.
