§ 31.09 LISTING OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.

   (A)   As a part of the Executive Branch, there are created the following boards and commissions:

      (1)   Aviation Board of Commissioners;

      (2)   The Board of Public Works and Safety;

      (3)   The Board of Parks and Recreation;

      (4)   The Redevelopment Commission;

      (5)   The City Plan Commission;

      (6)   The Board of Zoning Appeals;

      (7)   The Economic Development Commission;

      (8)   The Golf Course Board;

      (9)   The Housing Authority;

      (10)   The Police Pension Board of Trustees;

      (11)   The Firefighters Pension Board of Trustees; and

      (12)   Economic Development Commission.

   (B)   The Mayor shall appoint persons to serve as members of the boards and commissions specified herein above pursuant to applicable law and ordinances, except where state law provides for certain appointments by someone other than the Mayor or by election. Those persons appointed by the Mayor shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
