§ 30.102 CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION.
   (A)   The Civil Service Commission shall prescribe, amend, and enforce rules not inconsistent with R.C. §§ 124.01 through 124.64, for the classification of positions in the civil service of the city. The Commission shall have the powers and duties provided by statute except that when a vacancy occurs in the classified service of the city, to be filled by appointment or promotion, the Civil Service Commission shall certify to the appointing authority the names of the three persons standing highest on the eligible list for the position and the appointing officer shall appoint one of these persons to the position.
   (B)   The Commission shall consist of three members with six-year terms, not more than two of whom shall be of the same political party. A member may be removed as provided in R.C. § 124.40.
