§ 34.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   A person who violates the provisions of M.C.A. § 2-2-201 or §§ 34.01 through 34.27, or both, is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned in the county jail no more than six months. The city may at its option declare any contract in violation of the provisions of M.C.A. § 2-2-201, or §§ 34.01 through 34.27, or both, void ab initio.
