§ 71.06 PARKING PERMITS.
   (A)   Generally required. In addition to the prohibitions and provisions of other sections of this title, there shall be no parking on any public street, road, lot or other public place in the town except by permit and only in those areas designated “Parking by Permit Only” by signs or yellow markings on the pavement, street or curb. No operator of any vehicle that does not have a parking permit in compliance with this section shall stop, stand or park or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended in Rebora Plaza or in any other location designated as "Parking by Permit Only". Provided however, it shall not be a violation of this section for Beverly Shores residents or owners of real estate located in Beverly Shores, or their guests, to park their motor vehicles off the traveled portion of the road directly in front of the resident's or owner's residence or real estate.
   (B)   Permits for residents and property owners holding current building permits.
      (1)   The town shall make available to each resident, improved property owner and property owner holding a current valid building permit, parking permits for 2 motor vehicles upon payment of the proscribed fee set out in the Town Fee Schedule, § 10.99.
      (2)   Proof that the current year’s garbage bill and all other town fees or fines have been paid in full for any improved property owned or occupied by the applicant must be provided.
      (3)   The permit shall be in the form of a sticker which must be permanently affixed to the lower left hand corner of the rear window of each vehicle and is non-transferable and which shall be good for the current year only.
      (4)   For issuance of more than 2 permits to any resident, improved property owner or property owner holding a valid building permit, vehicle registrations will be required for the additional motor vehicles along with information sufficient to establish that the legal owner of the vehicle is a resident, improved property owner or property owner holding a current valid building permit, provided, however, that if it is a company owned vehicle, a letter from the company is required indicating that the resident, improved property owner or property owner holding a current valid building permit has been issued a company car and that he or she is authorized to drive it for personal use.
   (C)   Permits for town employees. One yearly parking permit will be available free of charge to the following persons: Town Council members, appointed members of the Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Building and Site Committees, Park Board, active volunteer firefighters, Town Attorney, and other town employees, and other persons as the Council may from time to time direct.
   (D)   Guest permits. The Clerk-Treasurer may issue no more than two books of ten daily parking permits to a resident, an improved property owner or a property owner holding a current valid building permit for guests of the resident or property owner upon payment of the proscribed fee as set forth in § 10.99. The daily parking permit will set forth the specific date for which the daily parking permit is valid. These daily parking permits for guests will not be issued for renters, busies, campers and/or recreational vehicles.
   (E)   Non-residents. A non-resident of the town may purchase an annual parking permit or a daily parking permit upon payment of the proscribed fee as set forth in § 10.99. The daily parking permit for a non-resident will set forth the specific date for which the daily parking permit is valid.
