8-1-104: RESTRICTIONS APPLICABLE TO USE OF PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES:
The following conduct or activity shall be prohibited in the use of any park or recreational facility:
   A.   Making or kindling any fire except in designated barbecues provided by the city;
   B.   Engaging or participating in any game or activity which may create hazard or danger to other persons or property, including, but not limited to, baseball, driving of golf balls, engaging in model airplane flying; provided further, any such activity is permissible within any area which is specifically designated for such activity;
   C.   Consumption of any alcoholic beverage, unless authorized under a special permit issued by the director of recreation and parks pursuant to rules and regulations issued under section 8-1-107 of this chapter;
   D.   Riding any bicycle, skateboard, roller skates, or similar type of device except where such activity is specially authorized by posted signs;
   E.   Obstructing, interfering with, or loitering, in a manner which interferes with the use or purpose of any recreation facility;
   F.   Using any recreation or park facility for the purpose of tennis or golf instruction for compensation; or the use of more than six (6) tennis balls by two (2) or more persons in any tennis court, with the exception of city sponsored tennis instruction;
   G.   Sponsoring or holding any organized gathering of fifty (50) or more persons in any park, unless authorized by special permit issued by the director of recreation and parks pursuant to rules and regulations adopted under section 8-1-107 of this chapter.
