There is established the municipal off street parking meter zone which includes the following provisions:
A. The director of public works services or his designee shall set the parking meter rates for each meter located in the municipal off street parking meter zone in an amount not to exceed two dollars ($2.00) per hour. If the meter is set for a time less than one hour, the meter rate shall not exceed two dollars ($2.00) for the maximum time on such meter.
B. Except as otherwise set by the director of public works services as provided in this subsection, parking meters shall be in operation, and the deposit of coins shall be required, between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M. and eleven fifty nine o'clock (11:59) P.M. of each day of the week. The director of public works services shall have the authority to set the parking meter hours and days of operation within the time frame set forth herein as well as the maximum legal parking time at each parking meter. The director of public works services shall provide thirty (30) days' notice to the city council, at a public meeting, of any proposed change to parking meter hours or days of operation at any meter.
C. Parking time at any meter shall not exceed the posted maximum time limit.
D. The following area is included within the municipal off street parking meter zone:
La Cienega reservoir metered parking lot which is located in the La Cienega municipal park immediately south of Gregory Way and between Le Doux Road and La Cienega Boulevard.
Metered parking lot B which is adjacent to South Santa Monica Boulevard between Crescent Drive and Canon Drive.
Metered parking lot D, which is north of block B, tract Beverly, between Beverly Drive and Rodeo Drive.
Metered parking lot E, which is north of block A, tract Beverly, between Rodeo Drive and Camden Drive.
Metered parking lot F, which is north of block H, tract Beverly, between Camden Drive and Bedford Drive.
Metered parking lot G, which is north of block I, tract Beverly, between Bedford Drive and Roxbury Drive.
Metered parking lot H, which is north of block J, tract Beverly, between Roxbury Drive and Linden Drive and that portion of Linden Drive north of South Santa Monica Boulevard.
Post office metered parking lot which is located north of the city of Beverly Hills post office.
Roxbury municipal park parking lot which is located in the Roxbury municipal park south of Roxbury Park Recreation Center.
