There is hereby established a parking meter zone B which includes the following provisions:
A. The director of public works services or his designee shall set the parking meter rates for each meter located in parking meter zone B in an amount not to exceed two dollars ($2.00) per hour. If the meter is set for a time that is less than one hour, the meter rate shall not exceed two dollars ($2.00) for the maximum time on such meter.
B. Except as otherwise set by the director of public works services as provided in this subsection, parking meters shall be in operation, and the deposit of coins shall be required, between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M. and eleven fifty nine o'clock (11:59) P.M. of each day of the week. The director of public works services shall have the authority to set the parking meter hours and days of operation within the time frame set forth herein as well as the maximum legal parking time at each parking meter. The director of public works services shall provide thirty (30) days' notice to the city council, at a public meeting, of any proposed change to parking meter hours or days of operation at any meter.
C. Parking time at any meter shall not exceed the posted maximum time limit.
D. The following area is included within parking meter zone B:
Alden Drive, both sides, from Foothill Road to Maple Drive.
Civic Center Drive, north side, from the Civic Center Drive access road to Doheny Drive.
Commercial Center Street, both sides.
Foothill Road, west side, from three hundred ninety feet (390') north of Third Street to Santa Monica Boulevard, south roadway.
Le Doux Road, east side, from Gregory Way to Olympic Boulevard.
Maple Drive, west side, from Third Street to Commercial Center Street, south roadway; from Commercial Center Street, north roadway, to Beverly Boulevard; and on the east side of Maple Drive from Third Street to Alden Drive.
Olympic Boulevard, south side, from Roxbury Drive to one hundred thirty feet (130') east of Spalding Drive.
Roxbury Drive, west side, from Olympic Boulevard to the south city limits.
San Vicente Boulevard, west side, from Clifton Way to the northerly city limits.
The alley west of and adjacent to Roxbury Park in the recessed parking stalls between Roxbury Drive and Spalding Drive.
