7-1-9: DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC RESTRICTED TO DESIGNATED OFFICIALS:
No person, unless authorized pursuant to this chapter, or otherwise authorized by state law shall direct or attempt to direct traffic by voice, hand, or other signal. (1962 Code § 3-6.302; amd. Ord. 97-O-2279, eff. 5-9-1997)
7-1-10: APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC REGULATIONS:
The operator of any vehicle, including any vehicle owned by or used in the service of the United States government, the state, and any county or city shall be subject to the traffic regulations of this title, unless specifically exempted by the state Vehicle Code or other governing law. 7-1-11: APPLICATION OF PARKING, STANDING, AND STOPPING REGULATIONS:
All vehicles shall be subject to the standing, stopping, and parking provisions of chapter 3 of this title, with the following exceptions:
   A.   City police or fire vehicles.
   B.   Private ambulance responding to an emergency situation.
   C.   City vehicles and public utility vehicles when necessary for use in construction, repair, or maintenance functions.
   D.   Any vehicle owned or operated by the United States postal service while in use for the collection, transportation, or delivery of United States mail. (1962 Code § 3-6.307; amd. Ord. 97-O-2279, eff. 5-9-1997)
7-1-12: COMPLIANCE WITH PARKING AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND DEVICES AND AUTHORIZED ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL:
   A.   No person shall fail or refuse to comply with the parking or traffic regulations, or any traffic device installed under the provisions of this title.
   B.   No person shall fail or refuse to comply with the order, signal, or direction of police, fire, or other personnel authorized to enforce the provisions of this title. (1962 Code §§ 3-6.403, 3-6.303; amd. Ord. 97-O-2279, eff. 5-9-1997)
7-1-13: OBSTRUCTION OR INTERFERENCE WITH AUTHORIZED ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL:
No person shall interfere with or obstruct in any way any police officer or other person authorized to enforce the provisions of this title. The removal, obliteration, or concealment of any chalk mark or other distinguishing mark used by any police officer or other person authorized by the city to enforce the parking regulations of this title shall, if done for the purpose of evading the provisions of this title, constitute such interference or obstruction. 7-1-14: INTERFERENCE WITH TRAFFIC SIGNS AND DEVICES PROHIBITED:
It shall be unlawful for any person to install, remove, tamper with, or destroy any traffic or parking sign or device unless such action is authorized by the city. (1962 Code § 3-6.806; amd. Ord. 97-O-2279, eff. 5-9-1997)
