4-1-109: EMERGENCY TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PERMIT:
Certain types of conduct or activity may create an imminent peril to public health, welfare or safety in specific activities or businesses which are subject to regulatory permits under this code. Where the conduct or activity of the licensee creates an imminent peril to the public health, welfare or safety, the permit may be summarily suspended upon notice to the licensee, provided further, that the licensee shall be entitled to a hearing within three (3) days thereafter; and provided further any temporary emergency suspension shall not exceed fifteen (15) days pending a hearing under section 4-1-108 of this article.
