Nothing contained in sections 10-3-2727 through 10-3-2739 of this article shall be deemed or construed to allow the use of property situated in a residential zone for any commercial or parking purpose, and it shall be unlawful for any person to use property in a residential zone for parking purposes except in connection with, or as an accessory use to, the use of such property for residential purposes or other permitted uses.
