§ 71.025 GIVING TURN SIGNALS.
   Any stop or turn signal when required herein shall be given either by means of hand or arm, or by a signal lamp or lamps, or mechanical device of a type approved by the State Department of Public Safety, except as provided herein. When the body of a vehicle or the load of any vehicle projects 24 inches or more to the left of the center of the steering wheel, or under any condition where a hand and arm signal would not be visible both to the front and rear of the vehicle, the vehicle shall be equipped with, and the required signal given by, signal lamps or devices.
