§ 70.097 HEAD LAMPS AND STOP LIGHTS.
   (A)   All vehicles driven on any city street or highway, except motorcycles and bicycles, shall be equipped with at least two head lamps with at least one on each side of the front of the motor vehicle. The head lamps shall emit a light plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet.
   (B)   Every motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, pole trailer and any other vehicle which is being drawn at the end of a train of vehicles shall be equipped with at least two tail lamps mounted on the rear of the same level and as widely spaced laterally as practicable which when lighted shall emit a red light plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear. The vehicle shall also be equipped with two red reflectors as part of the tail lamp.
   (C)   Every motor vehicle, except as exempted under 47 O.S., shall be equipped with a white lamp which shall illuminate the rear tag display of the vehicle so that it may be clearly read at a distance of 50 feet to the rear.
   (D)   Every motor vehicle, except a motorcycle or truck tractor, shall be equipped with at least two stop lamps mounted on the rear of the vehicle having attached thereto red reflectors which shall display a red or amber light visible from a distance of not less than 100 feet to the rear in normal sunlight, and which shall be actuated upon application of the service (foot) brake.
   (E)   All aforementioned lights shall be kept burning during the period from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise when the vehicle is in motion on city streets or highways, except for division (D) above, which shall function properly at all times.
