(A) Defined. For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FLORIST. Any building, room, stand, enclosure, premises, place, establishment or part thereof conducted for the sale, or offering or keeping for sale, at wholesale or retail, of flowers, plants, trees or shrubs.
(B) License required. No person shall manage, conduct or carry on the business of florist without first obtaining a license therefor.
(C) Certain locations prohibited. Except as provided in § 839.02, no person shall conduct the business of a florist on any public way, street, parkway, alley or vacant lot.
