In the event the owner does not comply with the order to cut or destroy the weeds, grass or undesirable vegetation within the time limit specified in Section 680.02 after a proper notice of violation has been issued by the Village Clerk, the Clerk shall cause such undesirable vegetation to be cut and destroyed or trees or shrubs to be trimmed, and may employ the necessary labor and equipment to perform such task, together with any clean-up work required, within appropriations previously made by Council. This remedy is in addition to the penalty provided in Section 680.01(b).
