§ 72.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 70.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   The fine and court costs for violating the provisions of § 72.05(A) of this chapter shall not exceed $20.
      (2)   Any person convicted of violating § 72.05(E) or (F) of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of $50 and shall pay all court costs thereof. The fine shall be suspended, and court costs limited to the sum of $15, in the case of a first offense upon the proof of purchase or acquisition by loan of a child passenger restraint system meeting the standards of the federal act referenced in § 72.05 of this chapter.

   (C)   The penalty for using a handheld electronic device for purposes prohibited as per § 72.15 of this chapter at any time the motor vehicle is in motion shall be a fine in the amount of $100, in conformity with 47 O.S. § 11-901.
   (D)   A violation of § 72.17 of this chapter shall be punished in accordance with § 70.99 of this code.
