§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of Title VII for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99(A) of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   An owner or operator who fails to produce for inspection a valid and current security verification form, or an equivalent form which has been issued by the Department, as per § 70.05 of this chapter upon the request of any peace officer of the Department shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code.
      (2)   A sentence imposed for any violation of § 70.05 of this chapter may be suspended or deferred in whole or in part by the Court.
      (3)   Any person producing proof in court that a current security verification form, or equivalent form which has been issued by the Department, reflecting the liability coverage for such person was in force as per § 70.05 of this chapter at the time of the alleged offense shall be entitled to a dismissal of such charge.
      (4)   Upon conviction, bond forfeiture or deferral of sentence, the Court Clerk shall forward an abstract to the State Department of Public Safety within ten days reflecting the action taken by the Court.

   (C)   Any person failing to stop or to comply with any of the requirements of § 70.17 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as provided in § 10.99(A) of this code.
