(A) The use of any device that is used in the nature of an engine brake or compression brake system within the corporate limits of the city is hereby declared unlawful and a violation of the ordinances of said city because of the undue, excessive and unacceptable noise produced by the use of such devices.
(B) Emergency vehicles so equipped are specifically excepted from the provisions of this section.
