The duties of the Board of Public Works and the duties of the Board of Public Safety as provided by law shall be performed by a board to be known as the Board of Public Works and Safety. The Board of Public Works and Safety shall be composed of the Mayor and two members appointed by the Mayor in accordance with I.C. 36-4-9-8.
