It is unlawful for any person to build or maintain a junkyard or to place on town lots, within the town, a junkyard or material commonly found in junkyards such as old car bodies, old vehicles, wrecked vehicles, old secondhand materials commonly found in junkyards or similar places of business. It is unlawful to convert any lots which, as of September 1969, were not so used, into such junkyard or for the purpose of placing thereon material as described above. (1998 Code)
