452.02  POLICE MAY REMOVE ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLE.
   (a)    Whenever a police officer finds a vehicle standing upon a street, highway or any other place in the City, in violation of a City ordinance or State law, the vehicle may be towed, the police offficer may require the driver or other person in charge of the vehicle to move the same or the police officer may move the same.
   (b)    Whenever a police officer finds a vehicle, which constitutes an obstruction to traffic, in a hazardous position or in violation of any of the provisions of these Codified Ordinances or State law, such police officer may cause the vehicle to be towed to a garage or other place.  (Ord. 1981-97.
