731.02 EMPLOYEE'S PERMIT REQUIRED; WAIVER PENDING RECORD CHECK.

(a) No person shall be employed in the City as a private police person or private security person (hereinafter "registrant") without first making application to the Chief of Police for a permit therefor, which shall be renewed annually, subject to the exceptions in Section 731.01.

(b) If all other requirements are satisfied the Chief of Police may issue a waiver for a

period not to exceed thirty days pending completion of a record check and issuance of an I.D. card.
