731.01 REGISTRATION REQUIRED; EXEMPTIONS FOR LICENSEES UNDER STATE LAW.

   No person, including but not limited to any retail establishment, multi-family dwelling,

apartment building, office building or business shall employ another within the City for private

police or security services as defined in Ohio R.C. 4749.01(D), and no person shall be employed as a private police- person or private security person as so defined within the City, without proper registration of the employee including first obtaining a permit issued by the City as set forth in this chapter. However police officers currently serving in other municipalities and those persons or entities otherwise registered or licensed by the State of Ohio as Class A, B, or C license holders under Ohio R.C. Chapter 4749 having qualified, shall be exempt from this chapter.
